ITINERARY
DAY 1
-
ARRIVAL
Meeting your Adventuress fam
Check-in to your base set amongst the stunning mountain scenery of Snowdonia.
We will gather in the evening for drinks to get to know each other. If the weather permits we will enjoy the sunset, and our surroundings by gathering outside (bring your camping chair!)
DAY 2
-
HIKE MOUNT SNOWDON
Journey to the summit
After a hearty cooked breakfast we will begin our hike right from the door. Our 16.5km hike will take us on a slow uphill climb, revealing jaw-dropping views over the village of LLanberis, lake Padarn, and beyond.
The path we will take is considered the ‘easiest’ of the Snowdon ascents, with a nice wide footpath, but don’t be fooled by the title, as we will gain almost 1100 meters in elevation from our base!
Half way up sits a cafe where we can grab a takeaway drink and sit to admire the sweeping views.
With our energy restored we will tackle the steepest part of the trail on our bid to the summit. Unbelievably the views just keep getting better as we can now see both sides of the mountain!
Reaching the top will call for a mini celebration and finding a spot to take it all in, before starting our slow descent back to base.
In the evening after our well earned rest, we will come together for a celebratory pint at a cosy country pub in the quaint lake side village of LLanberis.
16.5km | Moderate-Challenging
Although the trail is considered challenging due to it’s constant uphill ascent, we will be taking it at a slower pace so that we can enjoy the journey.
DAY 3
-
LAKE KAYAKING
Tour of the mighty Llyn Padarn
After filling up on breakfast we head out on a short walk to the mighty lake of Padarn.
We’ve seen it from above, we’ve seen it from the shore, and now we’ll see it from a ducks point of view! We’ll be jumping into open kayaks for a guided paddle of one of Wales’ largest lakes. You won’t believe how crystal clear the water is.
During the tour we’ll stop off at the some beautiful spots along the shore line, visiting old slate mines (UNESCO World Heritage site) and a 12th century castle, where our knowledgable guides will teach us all about the local history and folklore.
There will be moments where you can stop and take in the tranquility of the lake, recapping on your conquest of mighty Snowdon which can be seen in the distance.
If you’re feeling brave at the end of the paddle you will have the option to wild swim in the lake and swing off of a rope swing!
After all of that fun we will head back to our base to collect our bags and say our reluctant farewells…Until the next adventure!

Our trips are specially tailored for women.
Research has shown that there is a ‘Confidence Gap’ between men and women, which is very clear when it comes to the world of outdoor adventure! From a young age girls are taught to shy away from risk, leading to less confidence with outdoor pursuits in later life.
We are here to push comfort zones and build confidence, paving the way for women to live a life of adventure.
